BACK TO THEATER

After ten years devoted exclusively to literature (short stories, essays, revising and translating my novels), the theater demon takes me again: the “Cagouille” company has entrusted me with directing Jean-Claude Brisville’s famous play, “Le Souper” (The Supper).

In this historical fiction, the author imagines a dinner party where, after Bonaparte’s abdication, Talleyrand invites Fouché in an attempt to persuade him to work together toward a second restoration of the Bourbon monarchy.

The premiere will take place on June 11 at the Château de Buzay, near La Rochelle.
